
Dr. Michelle Khan is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with advanced fellowship training in oculoplastic and adnexal surgery. Her clinical focus includes eyelid, lacrimal, and orbital disorders, with a special interest in both reconstructive and aesthetic oculoplastics.
Dr. Khan completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) at Queen’s University as a Loran Scholar—one of Canada’s most prestigious undergraduate awards. She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine at Queen’s University, where she received the Award of Excellence in Ophthalmology. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Toronto, followed by subspecialty fellowship training in oculoplastics at the world-renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, UK.
A decorated scholar and surgeon, Dr. Khan has received multiple accolades throughout her career, including the Dr. Wallerstein Award in Ophthalmology and recognition for her surgical expertise at the Toronto Cataract Course. She was appointed a Senior Fellow at Massey College at the University of Toronto for her contributions to medicine and public service.
Dr. Khan is deeply committed to global health and humanitarian outreach. She has participated in numerous medical missions to underserved and conflict-affected regions including Jordan and Jerusalem. She currently serves as Chair of the St John Ophthalmic Association of Canada and is actively involved in surgical teaching and education at the St John Eye Hospital in Jerusalem.
Her academic work includes numerous publications in leading peer-reviewed journals and presentations at major national and international conferences. She is also a sought-after speaker and educator in the field of ophthalmology.
